This policy describes how the Attyk iPhone app and attyk.app handle information. It matches what the app already tells you in Settings. It is not legal advice.

What Attyk stores

When storage is on for a photo or video, Attyk uploads the original file to private cloud storage that only your account can access. Attyk also stores basic metadata (such as when and where a photo was taken, if your device provides it) to organize your library. If you turn on AI Organization, Attyk may store an AI-generated description used to group and search your own photos.

Sign-in

Attyk uses Sign in with Apple. Attyk never sees your Apple ID password, and receives only the name and email you choose to share at sign-in.

Who else sees your data

Attyk does not sell your data or use it for advertising. The iPhone app does not include ad or analytics tracking SDKs. Service providers process data only to run Attyk:

Originals are not stored in a public bucket. API access is authorized with your signed-in user. One account cannot list another account's library.

This website

attyk.app is a public marketing site today. It does not receive your photo library. If privacy-conscious analytics are added later, they will be documented here before they run. None are enabled in this build.

Deleting your data

Removing a Photos copy (“Move to Attyk”) happens only after you confirm, and only once the original is verified as stored. Deleting your Attyk account is available in Settings and permanently deletes stored originals and account data, usually within about an hour. That does not cancel an Apple subscription.

Your device

Attyk needs Photos access to find items to store and to remove local copies you have confirmed are stored. It reads free disk space and file timestamps only to manage its own background uploads and temporary files — never to identify or track you.
